LOCATION: Connecticut River from Ferry Park, Rocky Hill, CT to Crow Point Cove, Wethersfield, CT and return.

DATE AND MEET TIME: Sunday, July 22; meet no later than 9:30 am for a 10:00 am launch to take advantage of tide. Please be on time as the tide waits for no one.

DESCRIPTION AND RATING: Paddle trip up the Connecticut River to Crow Point Cove in Wethersfield and return. Crow Point Cove is south of the Glastonbury Boathouse and has a nice sandy beach to stop for a snack. This section of the river is generally calm with occasional wakes from powerboats. Suitable for all levels except beginners.

DIRECTIONS: Ferry Park is located at 350 Meadow RD, Rocky Hill, CT. At the light in the center of Rocky Hill at the intersection of Elm Street, Silas Dean Hwy and Glastonbury Ave (RT 160) turn onto Glastonbury Ave. There is a sign for the Rocky Hill Ferry. At the RR tracks turn left onto Meadow RD. Park is on the right after Ferry Lane.
