Welcome! The Mt. Laurel Skiers (MTL) is an ALL Season Sports and Social Club and a member of the Connecticut Ski Council which offers discount ski tickets. Our members are warm, friendly, fun and interesting people of all ages. The club typically hosts weekly social gatherings which include our community meetings. Members are primarily from Connecticut and neighboring states, but some from as far away as Florida and Kentucky!
There are a variety of organized activities such as downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, kayaking, golfing, seasonal get togethers AND the benefit of a renovated 32 bed lodge in Ludlow, Vermont near the base of Okemo.
MTL is more than just a ski club! And anyone can join to enjoy the many benefits and discounts. Explore the website to learn more.
Annual Open House at the Whinstone Tavern
on October 12th
Mark your calendars for the Annual Open House which will be at the Whinstone Tavern on Wednesday, October 12th from 7:00 to 9:00pm. It would be wonderful if everyone attending the Open House could bring with them a friend, neighbor, family member or co-worker to show them all that Mt. Laurel has to offer. Open House is always a fun evening where you get a chance to talk with the representatives from the mountains and ski/sports shops plus Club members about Club activities like hiking, biking, kayaking, ski racing and more.
The Open House is now one of the few events where we will run a raffle. Donations to the raffle such as gift cards or general interest items would be greatly appreciated. We plan to hold the raffle at 8:00pm. I will have extra copies of the flyer at meetings. Please post the flyer at your local markets, restaurants and gyms and invite everyone to the Open House!!!
I am also looking for volunteers to help me on the night of the event and with the planning so please see me if you can lend a hand. Your assistance is very much appreciated.
70th Anniversary Viking Cruise
We're back from the 70th Anniversay Cruise on the Danube! Thanks to Eric Ardolino for arranging this fantastic trip. Cruisers appear at the 5:45 mark in the video.
2016-17 Membership Renewal
Just a quick reminder - your membership renewal to Mt. Laurel Skiers for the 2016-17 application year is due August 31st. Renewal applications sent in after August 31st will need to include the $15 late fee. The renewal form can be downloaded here. I will also have extra copies of the renewal form at the club meetings. All the information you need for completing and submitting the renewal is on the form. Please be certain to read and sign the new waiver. You might want to consider adding a donation to the Vermont Lodge Improvement Fund along with the club dues. There is still work to be done at the lodge and every donation really helps. If you have friends that are interested in joining Mt. Laurel Skiers, the new member application is also available.

High School Photos
It's back! The weekly lineup of what we looked like when the world was still in black and white. A new photo will be displayed each week. The identity will be revealed in a morph a week later. If your smiling youthful countenance hasn't been displayed, it's time to dig out the yearbook. Scan the photo or take a good quality digital photo of it and send it to Pat Moore at email@example.com. Take a look at who we've identified so far at this page. You may have to refresh the page to see the updates. Folks - we've run out of photos to display. If you haven't been featured, please send your HS Photo (of one taken about that time) to firstname.lastname@example.org
